Voyage to the Deep Blue

by Angie Karan

Rapture beacons me on the lonely shore
Shipwrecked a cold rock out at sea lore
Did you hear the thundered waves crashing
Upon the watery plain have me flashing
Emotions of the deep blue sway and roll!
Digging deeper, soul deep, it's taking its toll
From all I may feel, or have felt before
This is something bigger cuts to the core
There's a reason for been caught in this tide
Sinking into immeasurable depths inside
My heart, do not ravage from this deep blue
All in good timing you'll see what will be true
This deep blue sea a privilege due in time
Avalanche now my heart, but soon please shine
Make it worthwhile, make this voyage bring
Gifts of growth, a knowing that blooms in Spring!
Across the deep blue the waters ebb and flow
Thoughts reminiscing of better days to grow
My soul, a million miles away, I wait for you
Beseeching, staring out across the deep blue...
