Biography
My name is Deckillah, am 26 years old and a lover of poetry. I studied Literature in my Undergraduate, even though i on purpose evaded all poetry classes because i considered poetry to be hard. I later on realised that it was the one way that i fully and easily express myself., Am currently a communications major in graduate school and i still find poetry to be the one thing i do when school work becomes overwhelming and my mind wanders., Poetry is a way i find meet to tell a story, eduacate or pass across my opinion about subject matters. I write my poems in English as well as Swahili which is my National language., I keep a blog where i write and post my poems, my facebook account is also one of the sites that i post my poerty for my firends to read. I brought some of my work to my graduate class and it received such a warm welcome from my colleagues as well as my professor., I would like to see my poems read by the world, its the ultimate way i can tell the stories of the world to the world.
