Losing Grandma

by Louis Marvin

we are proud of you Grandma

when you went back to work and got a business degree

working for the school and a construction company

then you made your mark on the Tempe Police

and for the city and the Mayor too

You found a good man, you worked miracles with your kids and grandchildren

you took care of your mining town folks too

but grandma, we miss you

we are so glad you have good friends

but don't forget about us, we have not forgot about you
