what I said I'll be.
The ivy that reaches up to your window
though you have shut the doors.
Why did you leave the window open ?
I don't think you let it
just for the unknowing light
Maybe you knew that some day
love will trace the vine
upon the smallest climber flower
so you left the window open,
and what we saw after all these years,
together
has gone beyond the stars
