Verdant Sensuality

by Ken W Simpson

There were daisies amidst the grasses
and somnolence beneath a sky
of radiant hue
whose sun enjoyed its dominance
through clouds of fleecy wool
over masses of lush green clover
pressed by naked feet
across a verdant meadow
while bees were pollinating
near love's recumbent resting bower
where lust's increasing heat
and nature's own fecundity
passionately flowered.
