Playing His cards

There, I can see Him,
Playing His cards,
So swiftly He puts it,
That to defeat Him is hard.

He has so many tricks in mind,
Pre-planned from the beginning,
He plays each and every card wisely,
And does not like cheating.

"Your turn," He tells me,
I play my card accordingly,
"Oh good," he praises me,
And I feel happy.

He plays His card again,
Now its a Spade,
I can defeat Him easily,
But I'm patient and I wait.

To see His next move,
I play a Heart,
And that is when,
The challenge starts.

Both of us have got one card left,
Mine is King and I'm confident,
To win this game with Him,
But things changed as time went.

He played His card and won the game,
After all, we were at par,
But in the end, its always counted,
How much your 'opponent' has left you far.
