a simple love

he loves me
I know
of all the women
he’s seen
I don’t know why
but time seems
to have shaped his mind and heart for me
and the days
they seem to have set his feet
on the path towards me
It’s clear as daylight
he loves me
of all the girls
and the women
he’s got his heart for me
he just loves me;
and I just him
