If we could squeeze a selfish heart

by Lucio Muñoz

If we could squeeze the heart of a selfish individual,
A rational man concerned only with himself,
We would probably generate a similar residual
As when a careless market turns on itself:
A poverty generating trap
Exponentially feeding the growing poverty gap.
