Faith over Love

Every love has its own way,
Even to cherish every dismay;
And hurdle each probation,
To taste the greatest gratification!

Like budding flowers it might,
Sprouting colours bright;
With eagerness inside,
Oh, love will forever abide!

A picturesque comeliness she does wear,
Like explicit night sky so clear;
With pleasing nature colour,
One of the most I adore!

Her velvet lips shaped so fine,
Truly a winsome smile to mine;
Awe-inspiring smile with gracefulness,
Resemblance of blossoming roses.

By the soft wind that gently sways her hair,
Divulges the latent pulchritude in her;
Like an ornament in the embrace of alluring butterflies,
Mesmerizes my naked eyes!

By these scenic views from you,
My heart beats not a few;
Oh, only image of your art,
Could cheer up my desolate heart!

From her fragrance I remember,
Sweet scent like breeze of December;
Vitalizes my affection in oblivion,
Arouses my torpid emotion!

But these profound admirations,
Are kept only in my imaginations;
No matter how much I'd like to tell her,
These must be kept unknown forever.

How painful it is,
I let my love rest in peace;
Because two different faith,
Would never be a mate.

Should I be a deviance for earthly wants,
And break the well-known bonds?
Oh, please don't let me fling,
Let the holy love from yours I'll sing!

Perhaps this kind of love is not meant for me,
Likewise fitting the puzzle imperfectly;
Then patience must reside eternally-
True love awaits fervently.

As I watch the autumn leaves,
Falling tenderly as blown by the winds;
They had waited till crimson appeared,
Before gone by the western wind.

Those autumn leaves that timely fall,
Signify a perfect time for all;
That our fates are bound in time,
Destined to as when will our prime.

It's alright then,
But may sound outlandish to what I've been;
Now my heart would not sing melancholy song,
And hope my love could wait for long!

ABOUT THE POET ~
Hi, I write poems because I love expressing my feelings and emotions through poetry. So to describe myself as a poet, I am more on using themes like dark and loneliness. Somehow, I still use bright emotions and feelings in some of my compositions.
