Other Way Around

We met and you said "Hi".
I never expected you'll bid goodbye.

You wear a shining light—
Trying to hide your darkest night.

You were supposed to be my wellness
But you turned out an illness.

I thought I'm at peace so far
But actually I'm still in a cruel war.

In my dream we had the best love affair
Yet you became my worst nightmare.

I felt we are just beginning.
Sadly, we are on the nearest ending.

You promised to be with me till the old age.
Yet you told me we reached our last page.

Just when you're my inspiration,
You made me realize you're my distraction.

You were indeed my beautiful fantasy
But I need to live now in my beastly reality.
