Journey with God

I have faith as God is there with me,
in darkest hour of despair and in gloom of depression.
Lifting me out of dark pit so can live each day with hardy-courageous heart.
Positive in all my endeavors so there is no dejection.

I don’t let hatred and blame infest my mind.
Only God can judge, blessed forgiveness in my heart for everyone.
Share with God my sins; be contrite as Christ showed man His Sacrifice.
Appreciate and cherish the love of others and in spirit be one.

Don’t grab at false cold skies and lose warmth of sun.
Love and God there for me, I won’t lose them.
When world and mind are in chaos I pray to God and His Words revives.
Path clear, air scented and His Bellow will create order out of mayhem.

God will invest me with magical powers and each day I will conquer.
Climb the highest mountains and embrace sun, moon and clouds.
Leap ten thousand feet and fly to distant horizons on wings of an eagle.
Slumber on soft bed of solace and count drifting stars as rest in God’s Shroud.

God is my companion, our union strong in good times or bad,
in calm seas or harsh waves, in soft breeze or winds craze, holding me steady.
Peace and kindness will adorn my path as I walk with Him
in Green Glades of His Beneficence and when death bell tolls, I will be ready.
