Submissions Guidelines
Best-Poems.net Encyclopedia does not accept e-mailed submissions directly. Poems and Prose texts should be posted and managed by creating an account by individual poets or site editors themselves and poetry should be published to the right author nationality or poem category.
While the Editorial Staff welcomes unsolicited new poets, Best Poems is however a registred trademark for confirmed authors who have previously published at least one book of poetry or at least one poem in an nothorious print or online journal, review or magazine. The Editorial Staff cannot accept responsibility for the loss, damage or any automatic deletion of poems or authors accounts who don't have the required quality of texts to be entered the Annual Anthology selection. All submissions must be in English and previously unpublished; [Previously published poems can also be posted in the website when only the copyright and source of the publisher are clearly indicated].
Please submit no more than ten poems at a time and per day. Translations are acceptable and should be followed by a copy of the original text. Simultaneous submissions are also acceptable as long as we are notified immediately if the texts are accepted for publication elsewhere. Be sure to include phone and (if possible) e-mail in your account personnal contact form informations.
We suggest to all new poets who haven't published yet any book and who submit their texts for the first time in the anthology that they read several other available poets in the encyclopedia to acquaint themselves with material we have published.
The Best Poems Prize will honore the most acclaimed contemporary poetry works written in english. Hundreds of poets and thousands of poems will be soon represented along the pages of our website and modern poets will be included in our annual anthologies series.
The nomination process consists to select and post any combination of the best poetry, verse or prose written by the poet. Editors may nominate self-contained portions of books — for instance, an excerpt from a long poem or book. We welcome translations, reprints and both traditional and experimental writing. There is no entry fee and no forms to fill out. We also accept nominations from our staff of distinguished Contributing Editors.
