Life a chess game

Life is like a chess game.
Every move you make is challenged.
The slightest of your mistakes is avenged.
The entire game lies on your choices.
It is hard to keep a count of your losses.
To get something you have to give up something else.
And what you get is always compared to what you gave less.
The end is always the opposite of the start.
Loss and gain, of the same game a part.
