An Epistle to lady poem

Lady poem,
What should I state?
Where from I initiate?
I’m full of trial and strife
Since the day
Since you have come in my life.

It’s the very day of your arrival
My wife considers you an archrival.
As you have weaned away
The love and affection
That was meant
For my wife and son.

Just I’m getting segregated from society
Because they now consider me haughty
once where used to be an active participant
Now I prefer safe distance.

I have never thought of your company
In the jerks and jolts of life’s journey
I know I’m not only your fan
Already adorned by many a man.

In this mechanical Age
None whom one can trust
I don’t know for how many days
This love would last.

For future, now
I think not, nor lament
As I want to live
An age in a moment.

Wife warns me
Against the peril of becoming love-lorn:
Please, don’t come
In my shelter one morn.

You have various forms and figures
But I don’t find in all
Same energy and vigour.
You shine in full puberty and prime
When I see you
in the cloak of rhyme.

You stranded in
Uproar and tumult
I am not able
To tolerate this insult
Some have played
With your chastity
They’ve done prose
And call it poetry.
