Blessing in disguise
by vivekanand Jha
O depression! Blessing in disguise
Descending in one’s life
To teach how to struggle and strife
Even on the edge of knife.
Giving cautionary sign
Against any evil addiction and wine
As life is meaningless
Without healthy intestine,
Sound sleep and agile mind.
Only give one chance to correct
They are wise who know this fact
So give up all evil acts
To remain, for rest of life, intact.
Providing one opportunity
To know who is his own
Instead of showing sympathy
If someone frowns.
Remember!
In this tragic drama of life
One has to play part alone
Birth and death
Are accompanied by none.
Forget and forgive!
As let bygone, be bygone
Lest fall victim of depression again.
