Remember

Remember that time in the Lace Bark Pine
When you helped me climb that tree?
Or when you fell in the ocean swell
And I saved you from the sea?
And when the gale pushed you off the trail
I didn’t lead you askew
But now I stand on shaky land
And I wonder where are you?

ABOUT THE POET ~
Coming from a "white on white" suburban town outside the metropolitan area, I write about universally understood concepts because, courtesy of my obscenely average upbringing, I understand little else. I replace jargon with vernacular, mystic with mundane, and bizarre with normal, in hopes that readers will be able to actually associate with my writing
