Typhon

He was truly the very worst of all:
vicious, cunning as a snake, and highly
inflammable —
a vast oil slick swirling across oceans.
What if he had succeeded in toppling the gods
and now ruled the universe,
the voices of a hundred men and animals
issuing from his hundred heads?
Well?
