suddenly,the river
was so smooth, and flowing.
You still do the same trick,
holding onto light
so the shadow darkens me
even now in our twilight"
Every time it happens,
no happening is there,
but the stars, in their confused wars,
they dimm'd with meanings
that no moon rose, without you by my side.
Nothing caught hidden upon the moth shrined trees.
Everytime you happen to me,
nothing really happens.
But the driftwood meant to drift
stops its river song,
the flower bats, sipping forest honey
feign sleep,
knowing, the nectar rising in the dark
has only just begun.
