Masala Mix!

Samosas, bhajis and pakoras,
Come join me in this chorus-
Black, Brown, Yellow or White,
Let’s Wish for Bliss, Love and Light!

Chilli, turmeric and coriander,
Spicy, yummy curry powder;
Mix these up and great tastes you get,
Where are we from? Does this matter yet?

Oh members of any diaspora-
Let’s embrace our unique aura!
We’re born somewhere, bred in another
Different cultures pervade and smother.

Pick and choose what you believe in,
It’s mutual respect that’s worth achieving.
We’re all different, we’re all unique,
Accept this people-don’t be weak!

Samosas, bhajis and pakoras,
Come join me in this chorus-
Black, Brown, Yellow or White,
Let’s Wish for Bliss, Love and Light!
