Diamonds

One of the most sought after,
One of the most precious.
A dream for all women,
To possess this.

Diamonds are formed,
Under lots of heat and pressure.
It's not easy for it to become what it is,
It is today, every woman's pleasure.

Diamonds are known,
To cut glass.
They're so shiny and sparkle in the dark,
They're very prominent when teamed with a sari and you get acknowledgements as you pass.

They're not easy to buy,
You need lots of purchasing power.
The Kohinoor is one of the purest forms,
It's a bliss that one discovers.

A dream for some,
A greed for some.
Diamonds will continue to rule,
The industry of jewels and will be overtaken by no one.
