It's an old wine
Refilled in new bottle
Summer selfish
Winter selfish
And so is rain.
Friends are good
But chance turns them
selfish
Don't ask about love
Love is itself selfish.
Winter wind you are not
remedy
But a curse to these selfish
people, selfish world.
Blow, blow and increase
the pain
Selfishness all over
everywhere.

ABOUT THE POET ~
Md. Shahbaz Khan (Vicky to my close ones), was born in, Bhagalpur. I am a Master of Arts in English and currently, pursuing my Ph.D from Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University., I possess the ability of anchoring, singing and social work. I have also composed poems in English Language., My poem ‘New Year’ was published by the year 2011, in Contemporary Vibes (January Edition) and my poems got place in Mr., Brian Wrixon’s Anthology‘Words on the Winds of Change’, ‘On the Words of Love’, ‘A Poet’s View of Being’ and very, recently in ‘Inklinks’ along with famous writers of the, World and again in the Brian Wrixon's Anthology 'In Our Own Words' and in two Indian Anthologies of English poems ‘Imagination’ ‘Moods and Moments: (Soul reflections Of Loving Hearts)’., My short story ‘Black Night’ also got a place in www.storystar.com. Very recently I have authored a collection of Hindi poems entitled “SAMARPAN” in which my poetic mood can be understood., I am active on social networking site Facebook.
