About Beatles
The Beatles are a British rock band from Liverpool, England. They are considered the most popular and influential group in Western popular music. Following the rise of Beatlemania in the United Kingdom and then in Europe, the Beatles achieved success in North America from 1964, and quickly spread worldwide. Starting with the album Rubber Soul in 1965, the band experimented further. They released Revolver in 1966 and, after definitively stopping touring and performing to enter their period known as "the studio years," they released Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in 1967, The Beatles (the "White Album") in 1968, and Abbey Road in 1969.
