He withdrew from the competition because he didn't want people to recognize him through the show, but rather what he had worked hard for. He continued to gain popularity on TikTok, amassing 7.2 million followers. He was recognized by Dan Reynolds, lead singer of the band Imagine Dragons, who signed him to his record label, Night Street.Benson Boone's debut single, Ghost Town, was released in October 2021 and charted in 13 countries, followed by his second single, Room for 2, in February 2022.
