Shaboozey, real name Collins Obinna Chibueze, born May 9, 1995 in Fairfax, Virginia, is an American singer and rapper, known for the range of musical genres explored in his music. Shaboozey released his first single, titled Jeff Gordon, in 2014. That same year, he founded the production company V Picture Films, dedicated to creating music videos. In 2017, the Fairfax native signed with Republic Records and released his debut studio album, titled Lady Wrangler, the following year.In 2018, he appeared on the soundtrack for the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. His second studio album, titled Cowboys Live Forever, Outlaws Never Die, was released in 2022. In March 2024, Shaboozey featured on two tracks on Beyoncé's country album, Cowboy Carter. These collaborations boosted Shaboozey's career, and he released the single A Bar Song (Tipsy) the following month. The song was a huge success, reaching number 1 on the Top Country Singles chart, then on the Billboard Hot 100. In June 2024, A Bar Song (Tipsy) was certified double platinum. In Canada, A Bar Song (Tipsy) became, in October 2024, the song having reigned longest at the top of the Canadian Hot 100.
