Sisters

by Drora Matlofsky

Little girl pouting.
Untidy blond hair,
Freckles,
Upturned little nose,
Blue eyes like a doll's.

Lovely little doll.
Spoilt brat.

She knows what she wants
And rarely gives in.

Her sister,
Dreamy brown eyes,
Full of tears,
Talks to her softly:
'Please...'

Spoilt brat.

Let me hold you both very tight forever.
