Two Tanka In Ink, Sweat & Tears.. #2

by Spiros Zafiris

*
sometimes
he sees a beast in the mirror
with a horse's head
he confronts his hands--
hooflike--blink it away, he rails

*
I well know
the soft plop onto mattress
a cat produces
such visits, from vile dimensions,
a channeler learns to ignore
