Whore? Saint?
And who said that this is an either/or situation?
Maybe it was your parents
Or the church
Fuck who we tell you
When we tell you
How we tell you
Love who we tell you
And all your confused 13 year old heart wanted
was to reach for a hand to hold in the darkness
But all you got was an empty desert of grief and shame
to walk through all these years
Now you ask questions with no answers
Now you seek acknowledgement and apologies that will
never come
Saint?
Whore?
You can shove your either/or
Besides, what's wrong with "and"
Saint AND Whore
