I Break a Rose and I can't Find You

by Mariano Brull

I break a rose and I can't find you.
To the wind, like this, leafless columns,
ruined rose palace
Now —impossible rose— you begin:
by interwoven air needles
to the sea of ??untouched delight,
where all the roses
—before roses—
beauty are without beauty jail.
