To a Sniffling Student

by Drora Matlofsky

Don't grumble when they tell you
you aren't allowed to go and get a tissue.
The lady will give you one
and after the exam,
you can get as many tissues you want
for the next sixty years
until the day comes when you sit alone
wishing someone would bring you a tissue.
