What Did I Do Wrong

How could you just walk away, walk away from
me,
When I gave you my all, all I could ever be.
We shared the laughter and the pain, we even
shared the tears,
But ever since you left me, it's all turned into
fears.
All I could do was watch you leave, leave
without a trace,
There's nothing left to remind me, just the
memory of your face.
Every day I think about the way you made me
feel,
The warmth of your soft touch, it all felt so
surreal.
Even though I pray at night that you will return,
I truly know that you will not and I need to
learn,
To face my fear of not ever seeing the love that
I once knew,
But how can my heart say goodbye when I'm
still in love with you.
