The Hero

by Walter William Safar

There is no citty splutter around him,
No cram or noise,
All he has is peace,
And an eternally bright view.

The wind whispers to him
About its thousand years of travels,
The sun loves him,
Freedom kisses him,
As does the glorious moon.

In the butterfly, he has a faithful friend,
Because their dreams are perfectly alike,
To fly around people
Like the most beautiful of hopes.

In a tear, he sees his past,
In the rainbow, he sees his future,
He has no need for prayers,
Because prayers need him.

There is room for everybody in his eyes,
And his heart is a wonderful home for everybody,
Because humility is his sacred home.

While the capricious winds of destiny
Are throwing him back and forth
Like a tiny drop
Atop the waves of a stormy sea,
He does not ask for help,
Because faith is leading him
In the right direction.

Are you wondering who that hero is?...
Find the answer in your soul!
