from my bed
I watch
3 birds
on a telephone
wire.
one flies
off.
then
another.
one is left,
then
it too
is gone.
my typewriter is
tombstone
still.
and I am
reduced to bird
watching.
just thought I'd
let you
know,
fucker.

Quotes of the Day
Read not to contradict and confute, not to believe and take for granted, not to find talk and discourse, but to weigh and consider.
by Herman Melville
Days fleet. They rove the storied ground —
Tread many a site that rues the ban
Where serial wrecks on wrecks confound
Era and monument and man;
Or rather, in stratifying way
