1. Fathom

fixed star: any of the stars which apparently always retain the same position with respect to one another

a constancy as one shapes one's own orbit

the mirror offers an illusion of truth

is to piece fragments
of a mirror together
so as to conjure the whole.

4. Gold
that which resists rust
gold grains in an hourglass
