re_word

by RD McManes

everything changes
thus the need for prefix re
houses get remodeled
old movies become remakes
books are reprints
stories are retold
and even poetry is redone
haiku are moments relived
free verse resurfaced
examples are reread
needles are rethreaded
lines can be redrawn
something to rethink
words can be rewritten
and finally even forward
usually leads to reverse
