A Dear Person Becomes

by Spiros Zafiris

mire not your days in grief
be as the moondrops
a rested heart discovers God
far easier than the heart of anguish
all people have the choice
they can free their hearts for God
or they can grow a fondness for suffering

fall not on such wrong
allow yourself reflection
see the misery you bring upon yourself
for what it is
kind words and kind deeds
can free you eternally
