Yogi Glosa

I never said most of the things I said.
Half the things I said, I never said them.
I really didn’t say everything I said,
But you say I said them, so I said them.

I never said half the things you say I said
Unless I said them because you read them.
It’s almost as if no one heard me say
If you can’t imitate him, don’t copy him.

I never said most of the things I said,
But never say never is what I say.
If you come to a fork in the road,
Take it. The future ain’t what it used to be.

I’ve said it plain, and I’ll say it again:
I never said most of the things I said.
As I’ve always said, it’s catch as catch can
If you say stuff with my voice in your head.

Who says a man is as good as his word?
Half the lies they tell about me aren’t true.
I couldn’t have said all those things I said,
But sometimes I say I did anyway.

Maybe I said what you say I said on cue,
Or maybe you just read my mind instead.
It gets late early out here, it’s déjà vu
All over again. Was it something I said?

It ain’t over till it’s over. So said
Some soothsayer, so let’s say I’m him.
I never said most of the things I said,
But if I didn’t say them, who said them?

Ninety percent of the game is half mental.
You can observe a lot by watching. See?
Say what you will, but I say we say uncle.
If the world were perfect, it wouldn’t be.
