Falling in Quicksand

by Jeanine Canaris

Jeanine Canaris

Sometimes we feel like we're falling in quicksand
trying to get someone to understand
wanting them to lend a helping hand
.........maybe throw you a rope
give you some hope
Just some advice to help you cope
but you're falling in quicksand
falling in quicksand

Deeper and deeper
sinking down in
hoping it doesn't
go over your chin

the weight of the world
over your head
the pressures real
your alive
but you feel half dead..........................................
