Strangers

They started as strangers
With mouthful of cares.
Never thought of each other
As a book with the same chapter.

They do became friends
Who never expected the ends;
Who never imagined that trust
Can also be put to disgust.

Promises were spoken
Which never seemed to be broken
And they got off their covers
Then ended as strangers.
