About Julian Talamantez Brolaski
Julian T. Brolaski (they / xe / them) is an American poet and country musician, known for their works including Of Mongrelitude (Wave Books 2017), Advice for Lovers (City Lights 2012), and gowanus atropolis (Ugly Duckling Presse 2011). Julian served as the Bagley Wright lecturer for the 2023–2024 term, was awarded a Pew Foundation Fellowship in 2021, and received the Cy Twombly Award for Poetry in 2020.
