About Bridget O’Bernstein

Bridget O’Bernstein is a contemporary American poet. She grew up in Brooklyn and received her MFA in poetry from Syracuse University. She won the Perkoff Prize for poetry through the Missouri Review in 2022. In 2019, She won the Indiana Review Poetry Prize and was a finalist for the Ruth Stone Poetry Prize and the American Literary Review Poetry Award. Her poems and essays have been published in The Bennington Review, Sugar House Review, Foundlings Press, Fugue, The McNeese Review, and Forklift, Ohio, The Iowa Review, Michigan Quarterly Review and Birdfeast among others. She is a 2022 MSW candidate and works at an outpatient hematology and oncology practice.
