About David Faldet
David Faldet’s poetry has been published in such journals as Midwest Quarterly, The 2River View, Ekphrasis, Saw Palm and Arion. He lives and teaches in Decorah, Iowa. His novel King: A Mystery (Resource Publications 2019) imagines a man like Jesus set down in rural Iowa in 2008, at a time of deepening financial crisis and catastrophic floods. In Oneota Flow: The Upper Iowa River and Its People (University of Iowa 2009), he blends history, environmental research, and personal experience to show us that taking care of the rivers around us is a necessary way to take care of our future.
