About Michael MillerMichael Miller is a poet, teacher and former journalist who lives in Los Angeles. For more than a decade, he served as a writer and editor for the Los Angeles Times organization, and he founded Moon Tide Press, which has published more than 20 books of poetry to date, in 2006 with fellow poets Lee Mallory and Ricki Mandeville. His own credits include the books Thief After Dark (FarStarFire Press, 2002), College Town (Tebot Bach, 2010), The First Thing Mastered (Tebot Bach, 2013), Angels in Seven (Moon Tide Press, 2016) and Tea and Subtitles: Selected Poems 1999-2019 (Moon Tide Press, 2019). He currently teaches English and leads the creative writing club at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School in Northridge.
